Sketch dump SCULPT

The last of my sketches from my sculpt class

and now I finally post a sculpture from this class, never got to work on the hands unfortunately. I will eventually post the other sculptures.

Our last day of class our teacher took us on a trip to the Rodin Museum, where we were to sketch and observe how Rodin handles his sculptures.

Alright this next pic I scribbled this kid for it was too amusing to forget. I was sketching and this grade schooler walks in, scans the room, and just call out "of course" and leaves. He was just so fed up with sculptures of naked bodies.

This last one are the notes from the one day our teacher couldn't make it, she has a friend some in and give us a very condense lecture on anatomy.

My family's tradition for Christmas is to make up new ones every year and act like we been doing them our whole lives. A new one from last year was the Christmas T-shirts, this year everyone was convinced I should design the shirt picture. Last year my Aunt made a shepherd on a pilgrimage to Arizona (where we spent christmas), and this year I made...
my cousins and siblings love it.

Happy Christmas

A Little More Color

I decided to practice with some with some color today

Referenced from a photo from my family's last ski trip.

This sketch came from an assignment from my storyboard class.

The other week, our sculpt teacher couldn't come to class, a guest teacher came in instead and gave us a condensed anatomy lesson and for the last half an hour of class we did three portrait of our model.

September Sketches

Sketches from my intro to sculpting the human figure, done in September, and I just love this class.

I took this class to help me understand how to mold a human figure in 3D to help me with building characters in Maya, and it has done that and more. Every class getting into the details of how the human body is structured, helped my drawing technique improve so much in such a short time. I would differently take a few more sculpture, and human anatomy classes in the future.

Hello Blogger

I caved in and got a blog, I bookmarked so many artist from there that I decided that I might as well get a blog to follow them, and post some art there while am at it.

At most I will try my best to be as active as possible and post what I can, sketches, doodles, and projects.

I also have a tumblr, where post will still be done and a few previous works of mine can be seen.

Other than that, Hello Blogger
